The 10K will start out following the route of the 5K with added distance. The route will start in front of the Corn Palace, loop through the city streets of Mitchell taking you past Mitchell's Cadwell Sports Complex, looping the bypass area twice before heading back to finish in front of the Corn Palace.

10K RUNNERS
  • Start in front of the Corn Palace and run north to 7th Ave;
  • Turn left/west on 7th and go to Minnesota St.
  • Turn right/north on Minnesota St. and proceed to 16th Ave.
  • Turn left/west on 16th Ave. and proceed to Iowa St.
  • Turn left/south on Iowa St. and proceed to 15th Ave.
  • Turn right/west on 15th Ave. and proceed to Bypass.
  • Turn left/south onto Bypass and proceed to 8th Ave.
  • Turn left/east on 8th Ave. and proceed to Minnesota St.
  • Turn left/north on Minnesota St. and proceed to 23rd Ave. (Cemetery Rd)
  • Turn west down the bike trail to the turn around
  • Turn around at the cone and head back east to Minnesota St.
  • Turn right/south on Minnesota St. and proceed to 15th Ave.
  • Turn right/west on 15th Ave. and proceed to the Bypass.
  • Turn left/south on Bypass and proceed to 8th Ave.
  • Turn left/east on 8th Ave. and proceed to Minnesota St.
  • Turn right/south on Minnesota St and proceed to 7th Ave.
  • Turn left/east and proceed to Main St.
  • Turn right/south on Main St. and proceed to the Finish Line.
