The Palace City Kiwanis Half is definitely one of those 'bucket list' races. It's the only race in the world that starts and finishes in front of the World's Only Corn Palace. You can choose the half marathon, 10K or 5K option.

Here's the schedule:

Saturday, October 4th, 2025

  • Packet Pickup at the Corn Palace from 3 pm to 5 pm
  • Kiwanis Kids Fun Run starting at 5 pm in the Corn Palace Plaza - come cheer them on!

Sunday, October 5th, 2025

  • Packet Pickup at the Corn Palace from 6 am to 7 am
  • Main Street Mercantile will be open at 6:30 across the street so we can all fuel up with coffee! 
  • RACE TIME!
    • ​Wave 1: Starts at 7:30 am - Half Marathon + 10K
    • Wave 2: Starts at 7:45 am - 5K Runners/Walkers
  • ​Join us for the FINISH LINE FRENZY from about 8 am to ~Noon to cheer on all of our participants as they cross the finish line from the first to the last!
  • Make sure to get your photo taken with our NEW PCKH Letters and your medal in the Palace Park Mall Courtyard across from The World's Only Corn Palace! Someone will be standing by to help you make this happen!
