The Half Marathon course takes you on a beautiful route along Lake Mitchell where you'll be cheered on by spectators, friends and family. Once you've completed the loop through the countryside, you'll take a spin around Cadwell Park before coming back downtown to cross the finish line in front of the World's Only Corn Palace. There will be water stations approximately every two miles or less with multiple portable toilets along the entire route. 

​Prizes awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers as well as top person in each age group.

You will have at least 4 hours to finish the race. Official timing will continue until the last person finishes!

HALF MARATHON RUNNERS
  • Start at the Corn Palace & Head North to 7th Street
  • Turn Left/West on 7th to Minnesota Street
  • Right/North on Minnesota St to 23rd (Cemetary Rd)
  • Right/East at 23rd & Go East to Indian Village Rd
  • Turn Left/North on Indian Village Rd & follow this beautiful scenic road along the lake & head to N. Ohlman St.
  • Right/North on N. Ohlman to South Harmon
  • Turn Right/East at South Harmon and follow the loop around
  • N. Ohlman St. (again) this is a 3 way corner, (someone will be here to direct you), but Veer to the right onto West Harmon and head west and follow the lake around
  • At the stop sign, turn right & follow the curve around (be cautious of traffic) cross both bridges until Livesay Lane. (Someone will be here to direct you)
  • Livesay Lane turn left/north to Anthony Ave
  • At Anthony Ave turn left/west to Maui Drive
  • At Maui Drive turn right to Dailey Drive
  • At Dailey Drive turn left and follow around to stop sign/407th and turn right down the hill to North Harmon
  • At 407th Ave turn left/south to North Harmon
  • At North Harmon turn right/west and cross back over the two west end bridges & stay on the road to West Harmon

NOTE: Photos will be taken at the West End Bridge - make sure you run across it to get your pic

  • At West Harmon turn left and had a short distance to the entrance of the gravel trail (someone will be here to direct you), back into town, this is approximately 2.5 miles
  • You will come out on 23rd St. (there will be a water station here), cross the road and turn Left/East back to Minnesota Street
  • Right/South on Minnesota to 7th Street.
  • Left/East on 7th St to Main St.
  • Right/South on Main to the Finish Line
